Suited for Ceremony

The Federation Blazer honors a century of sartorial attire at the Games, on and off the track. Inspired by the timeless style and trailblazing spirit at athletic ceremonies, and the banquet tradition concluding track and field seasons, our Blazer is elevated to suit the needs of the modern amateur. It’s relaxed enough to toss on for a stop at Cafe de Flore in Paris after a run, yet structured and sophisticated enough for the office. The midweight, easygoing jacket is crafted from an organic cotton twill in deep navy and finished with a single button, double flap pockets, and a back center vent.

Tailored Elements

The midweight, organic cotton twill jacket has a wide lapel, single button, extended back vent, interior pocket and a custom silk label reminiscent of historic Parisian athletic cards. The sartorial style is inspired by the attire of athletic ceremonies over the last century.

A Functional Fit

Our blazer nods to the unstructured silhouettes of the twenties, with the sophistication of a sport coat, ease of a French chore coat, and utilitarian details for an athletic life. Tailored for elegance and comfort, it is available in two sizes: S/M or M/L.

Down to the Details

The unlined silhouette is finished with sash-clad interior binding, a locker loop with our signature racing stripe, and a gold hare pin. The details are fit for athletes, with two external pockets and one hidden keys pocket.

Tailored to Perfection

Designed in collaboration with Clementina, a New York brand of tailored clothing for women founded by Emilie Hawtin, each Federation Blazer is handmade in Rome at Le Tre Sarte, a sustainable, zero-waste workshop. With our partners’ expertise, we were able to create a piece that combines traditional craftsmanship and enduring style with attention to quality and detail. We worked closely with the designer and workshop to experiment with various materials, silhouettes and details for our blazer, and, after many essential espressos, we finalized a ceremonial silhouette that champions the Tracksmith spirit.

1924 to 2024

“Looking at archival photos from the Games in 1924, we were in awe of how modern everyone looked a century ago – from the athletes' uniforms, to the remarkable style of the crowd, to the tailored jackets worn at the ceremony. We decided to honor that timeless tone and trailblazing spirit with the Federation Blazer.”
