THE GRAYBOY

Art of the Training Tee

The Grayboy was one of the first products we ever made, inspired by beloved team-issued cotton tees that had lasted years. We revisited the archives to pull some of our favorite graphics for a limited-edition 10th Anniversary collection. Inspiration for our Grayboy graphics usually comes from a myriad of sources - from classical mythology, to iconic running novels, to team traditions and our favorite bars. Re-issued to celebrate a decade of Tracksmith, these designs honor what it means to be a runner and the pride that comes with every well-earned sweat stain.

Eliot Lounge

The Eliot Lounge was a Boston institution – a runners’ bar where everybody knew your name. It may now be gone, but our Eliot Lounge graphic is back. Inspired by the winged foot of Greek mythology, we’ve replaced the shoe with a bottle of beer. That’s how we roll in Boston.

Tracksmith Crest

We debuted this Tracksmith road runners crest in 2015. An emblem that captures the drive and diligence of an amateur, the graphic draws from heraldic traditions and features symbols of our brand mission and New England heritage.

Earned with Sweat

Sweat should be a badge of honor. Sure, there are times when you want a technical fabric to hustle perspiration away from your skin, but despite advances, nothing matches the simplicity and indescribable feel of cotton. It’s breathable, it doesn’t retain odor and it gets better with every mile. Besides, nobody ever fell in love with polyester.

Mileage Club

The summer mileage club is one of the oldest and most loved of high school cross country traditions. Here, we give a proper treatment to the noble distance summer standard. How was your tally this year?

Camp Tracksmith

For runners, camp is a place for building endurance and relationships. For reacquainting ourselves with that bone-tired exhaustion that only comes from a day filled with running, eating and not much else.

The T in Team-Issued

The nickname “Grayboy” was given to the standard-issue tee shirts handed out to the Georgetown track team. The shirt was a symbol of belonging. To get one, you either had to make the team, or become very close friends with someone who had. Made in the US from our bespoke Varsity Cotton, the Grayboy is our take on the team-issued training tee.

Hare Athletics Club

A Hare A.C. exclusive, this was the first graphic tee we made available when we started the athletic club back in 2018.
