The numbered, limited-edition Tracksmith Timepiece, created in collaboration with Merci and curated by Wind Vintage, is a celebration of the shared values in both watchmaking and athletics. In each field, time is a crucial concept, serving as a key performance indicator. The pursuit of excellence, which drives athletes to push their limits, is mirrored in the intricacy and precision of watchmaking. Powered by a Sellita SW 210 mechanical movement with manual handwinding, the watch runs smoothly with a high beat rate, provides accurate timekeeping, and has a reliable power reserve that can last up to 42 hours at a time.
Endures Over Time
Crafted with durability in mind, the robust sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant, while the stainless steel case and screw-down case back protect the timepiece against dust and humidity. The watch also has a 10 ATM water resistance rating.
A Watch for Runners
When considering the Tracksmith Timepiece, we wanted to ensure we developed a timeless and timely accessory that captures the attention to detail and craftsmanship that is paramount at Tracksmith, while at the same time honoring the single most significant standard in the context of the running pursuit – time. Without all of the bells and whistles of digitized technology, we were able to hone in on this element, producing an analog end result that speaks volumes about the power held in each second as it ticks by. We didn’t want to make another running watch. We made a watch for runners.
