This mama runner loves the fit, cushion, energy return and obviously the beautiful sleek design of the Eliot Racer.
In my 15 + years as a professional runner my sign of a approval for a shoe is if I can take them out of the box, lace them up and head up the door and come home unscathed. No blisters, no odd feelings in my feet or toes. The Eliot racer did that and more for me. Great looking, fun, fast...
Great looking, fun, fast shoe to run in. Wish the laces were a little longer and the stitching that runs across the outside toe can cause some hot spots. I like these shoes for fartlek sessions.

Fantastic shoes, very high quality build. Amazing level of details, like the laces, the packaging. The upper is light and breathable, very comfortable for a racing shoes, the midsole is bouncy and the idea of interchangeable insole is interesting. The outsole is very generous for a racing shoes. The only issue, at least in Europe is the import tax that position it above market standard

Supreme comfort and quality, but not elite speed
Very comfortable shoe with a fun ride, great looks, and top-quality materials. This shoe is more comfortable and ai believe it will be more durable than typical racers. The midsole is far more flexible than typical plated shoes which makes it good for proprioception and very comfy, but you give up some speed capability as a tradeoff. Will be my long run trainer but not race day option.

Unbelievable quality of materials and build. Still getting used to the level of cushioning as it is so soft. Tiny bit tight out of the box but improving else would have been 5*

Quick recovery after my long runs
Have been enjoying my easy long runs in the new Elliot Racers! Finish the runs without my legs feeling beat up which has allowed for quicker recovery. Working on base miles right now so have not tested them in a workout.

Really impressed so far with these shoes. The upper is light and breathable, very comfortable. I have a wider foot and high arch, and have had challenges with other brands, but not here. - If your shoes become wet throughout wear, we’d recommend the following steps:
- Unlace and open up the shoe
- Remove the insoles
- Pack with paper
- Remove wet paper and repeat
- Air dry
- A race day shoe with ample forefoot volume and a slimmer heel for better performance and optimal fit.
- The Eliot Racer fits slightly shorter compared to the Eliot Runner, so if you are in between sizes or like a bit more room in your racing shoe, we would recommend sizing up a half size.
