There’s nothing quite like the energy and passion of New York City. From Brooklyn to 1st Avenue and Central Park, the noise is as relentless as the course, making this an unforgettable race for runners the world over. There’s nothing quite like the energy and passion of New York City. From Brooklyn to 1st Avenue and Central Park, the noise is as relentless as the course, making this a bucket-list race for runners the world over. This year’s collection takes inspiration from New York's official unofficial color: black.
First to the Trackhouse is a not-so-secret race-within-a-race that many dream of winning, but few ever will. This year, a tradition born in the Eliot Lounge, Boston's runners' bar, has been exported to our NYC Trackhouse at 147 Wythe Ave. Typically, we crown our champions with a commemorative robe, but this year we upped the ante with a trophy cast by Bobbi Gibb, the first woman to run Boston. These will live in the Trackhouse year-round to celebrate running’s enduring amateur legacy.
The Heirloom Hoodie is a one-of-a-kind marathon major memento. Starting on Thursday, they will be available for purchase at the NYC Trackhouse and the Upper West Side pop-up. Adorned with patches representing the city of your achievement, we will be customizing a limited quantity with your name after the race and on Monday exclusively at the pop-up in the Upper West Side. Note that there will be no chain-stitching customization at the NYC Trackhouse.
Previous Heirloom Hoodie purchasers can stop by after the race to pick up your New York 2024 patches.
