Racing the marathon distance through the five boroughs of New York City is a unique experience for every runner, and one that allows you to discover the city that never sleeps at a different pace. Full of energy from Brooklyn to 1st Avenue and Central Park, the noise of the lively NYC crowds is as relentless as the course, making it a must for runners from across the globe. This year, we’ll be celebrating race weekend at two locations in the city. Be sure to visit us at our pop-up on the Upper West Side or the NYC Trackhouse in Brooklyn.
For better or for worse, this race will be stamped into your memory. Memorialize your race in New York with your finish time stamped on our free commemorative poster. Whether you ran a new PR or were just happy to finish, this is an achievement worth celebrating. Available Sunday post-race and Monday all day at both the NYC Trackhouse and our pop-up in the Upper West Side, while supplies last.
The Heirloom Hoodie is a one-of-a-kind marathon major memento. Starting on Thursday, they will be available for purchase at the NYC Trackhouse and the Upper West Side pop-up. Adorned with patches representing the city of your achievement, we will be customizing a limited quantity with your name after the race and on Monday exclusively at the pop-up in the Upper West Side. Note that there will be no chain-stitching customization at the NYC Trackhouse.
Previous Heirloom Hoodie purchasers can stop by after the race to pick up your New York 2024 patches.
Take your marathon weekend to the next level with a Hare A.C. Membership.
First to the Trackhouse is a not-so-secret race-within-a-race that many dream of winning, but few ever will. What started in Boston with a race to the runners’ bar, the Eliot Lounge, has been revived and exported to Tracksmith Trackhouses worldwide. While we formerly crowned our champions with a commemorative robe, over recent years we’ve upped the ante with a trophy cast by Bobbi Gibbs, the first woman to run Boston. This will live in the Trackhouse year-round to celebrate running’s enduring amateur legacy. Who will make it across the bridge and back to Brooklyn first? First to the Trackhouse will only be crowned at the NYC Trackhouse, not at the Upper West Side pop-up.
Every year, we design limited edition kits for each of the six World Marathon Majors to celebrate the unique achievement these races represent. This year our design was inspired by the varied roads that we train on every day. You can shop our New York Collection in limited quantities at the Upper West Side pop-up location and the NYC Trackhouse in Brooklyn.
