P&R Têxteis focuses on manufacturing technical sports apparel in the active sportswear and competition industries. Their portfolio includes a variety of sports such as running, track and field, cycling, triathlon, rugby, football, racing swimwear, and other collective as well as individual sports. In collaboration with their partners, P&R Têxteis offers comprehensive solutions from early-stage development to manufacturing. In essence, they develop technical sports garments by athletes, for athletes, to perform at the highest level.
The family-run business was founded in 1982 as a casualwear manufacturer, and moved into sportswear within the decade. This allowed them to hone in on distinct qualities, such as contour patterns and compressive fabrics, as they turned to specializing in more innovative construction techniques.
With such a technical focus, their products made their way into major sporting events, such as the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia. Since Atlanta 1996, P&R has been developing and manufacturing for both Summer and Winter Olympic Games, a proud achievement for the sportswear experts from Portugal. Today, P&R focuses 100% on active apparel with a team of almost 250 employees, and its mission continues to reflect the soul of its founders, one that is innovative and passionate about sports.

When working with P&R, product development was always done with a collaborative approach, as we worked in close proximity to trial different concepts at first, eventually reaching the products’ final and optimal form. Each meticulous detail is apparent – care was put into the fabric choice, fitting, and placement of the bonded seams as well as integrating perforated laser elements. Every detail is engineered to ensure next-to-skin comfort, breathability, and above all, performance.
