Make a Splash

Regular running shorts aren’t cut out for a swim (you’ll chafe all the way home). And swimsuits aren’t made for running (you'll chafe the whole time). These shorts are made for both. Made from an Italian-engineered fabric previously used for Olympic speed suits, it’s moisture-wicking, quick-drying and cool to the touch, and the built-in liner is crafted for comfort and support. Just like our classic Run Cannonball Run silhouette, these shorts are tastefully cut and swim-friendly, designed to get you to the water’s edge with speed and comfort while performing like a swimsuit when you hit the water.

Based on the classic Run Cannonball Run Shorts, the liner is crafted in a lightweight, quick-drying blend that provides support and comfort. Perfect for a mid-run surf, it is durable enough to cope with constant wetting and drying.

Store & Go

The swim-friendly shorts offer storage for your essentials, featuring a drop-in pocket built into the liner and a subtle yet secure zip pocket at the back right hip. Just don’t forget to remove your phone before you take to the open waters.

Honoring African Surf

The graphics in the collection, designed by Mami Wata, represent the history of sports design in an African context. With a vibrant and vernacular approach, the illustrations reflect the determination and spirit of African surf culture.

A Wave Away

Introducing our collaboration with Mami Wata, a fresh take on the Run Cannonball Run Collection. This limited-edition collection was inspired by the freedom of summer sporting, when runs can be interrupted by the lure of a body of water. In this world where strides and swimming strokes collide, we joined Mami Wata in creating products crafted for both land and sea, not only with technical features, but with bold graphics that honor African surf culture. The Run Surf Run Shorts embrace two colorways, one that is simply a bright ocean blue, and the other featuring the silhouettes of distinguished African athletes.

Last One, Last Last One

Toward the end of a workout, when your movements feel laborious and your reserves are nearly depleted, a sliver of motivation surfaces, leading you to one more push. In running, like surfing, you might be at the end of your tether, and yet you still ache for one last rep to ride on the bliss that you feel in the effort. Your love for the sport accumulates into one more wave. And then another. As you step, or surf, into the next round of exertion, you promise yourself, "Last one, last last one, last last last one". You wipe your brow, whisper quiet motivations, and unleash your energy in a surge for one final time. But will it ever be the last last last one? You hope not.

Get on Board

As part of the Run Surf Run Collection, we’ve also created a limited-edition surfboard that carries the ethos of the collaboration. This 6’10” mid-length board is made in Cape Town, South Africa by our friends at York Surfboards. With little rocker and a flat deck, this high-volume mid-length is a dream to paddle. A pulled-down rail allows the board to grab the wave face, and a really well-foiled, thinned-out tail makes turning easy. The board comes with a 4+1 fin setup - great for an alternative to a longboard or log if you want the paddle power but love to turn. The deck features the signature Tracksmith sash and a collaborative take on the Mami Wata logo. The bottom is finished with the graphic found on our Run Surf Run Shirt, an abstract, African-inspired design.

The board is exclusively available in limited quantities at our Trackhouses in Boston, New York and London.
